Hi, I’m Scott Jessamine a proud dad to two boys and someone who lives for life by the ocean. Whether it’s fishing, surfing, kayaking, swimming, scuba diving, or patrolling the beach as a surf lifesaver, the sea has always been a huge part of my life.

I started my online blog Saltfix as a way to sharpen my writing skills while working towards one day writing a novel. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a place to share stories, adventures, and the everyday moments that come with living a coastal lifestyle.

These days I try to post daily on Instagram and Facebook, sharing ocean adventures and encouraging people to get outside, chase the salt air, and enjoy life.

I’m based in a small fishing town just north of Perth, where the ocean is never far away.
