Hi, I’m Miles Tam from Townsville. Many people know me through my fishing adventures, but my passions extend well beyond the water. I love travel, camping, golf and, most importantly, spending time with my family.

I’ve been fortunate enough to write for QLD Fish & Boat Magazine for over 10 years, sharing fishing stories, tips and adventures. Over the years I’ve been lucky to fish in some incredible places around the world chasing Snook in Mexico, Dogtooth Tuna in Papua New Guinea, Yellowfin Tuna in Fiji and Vanuatu, Ruby Snapper and Snakehead in Indonesia, and of course exploring the amazing fisheries we have right here in Australia.

Across our country I’ve caught everything from Sooty Grunter and Barramundi to Red Emperor and Marlin, but these days my greatest passion is sharing these experiences with my family.

For me, life is about getting outdoors, making memories and teaching kids the real skills that come from adventure not screens. Time is something you can never get back, so never waste a day. Give your kids every opportunity to explore, try new things and embrace every experience that comes your way.
